This semester has been really hard but at the same time very interesting. I have learned a lot and I like many subjects, but the funniest subject and the one I have enjoyed the most was; "Investigación del Entorno" (Environment Research). In the subject, we focus in the legal regulations about urbanism, things for example: "Plan Regulador" or "Ordenanza General de Urbanismo y Construcciones (OGUC)", they are like the "constitution for an architect". These are important concepts that we will use when we enter the world of work. But we didn't see the topic in a "boring way", with the teacher we traveled to a building close to FAU and we analyzed it. With questions like: why does the building have that sale price? or does it comply with the regulations?  I have to mention that all credits go to the teacher, Diego Vallejos is his name.   I really don’t have many pictures. I don’t like  pictures when I’m spending time with someone but I understand there are situations that one has to save for the future. So, after thinking a lot, my favorite photograph is when I went to “El Tabo” for the first time with my classroom. I remember that a teacher took the picture in 2016. The picture actually don’t show a “special moment” because it only shows me and my classmates. But every time I see the photo it makes me nostalgic. The travel was important to me, I think it was the first time I traveled alone (without my parents) and I had the opportunity to meet people who today are my friends. And I had one of the funnier experiences of my life. The travel was for two days, in the first one we had to go to sleep at 11 pm because the next day we had to wake up at 7 am. In my opinion the study programme of FAU in the future will change a lot because of the student demand. I only have been studying almost for a year so there isn’t a really trustworthy opinion, at least there are changes that I definitely would change. First, about the curriculum, I would implement a more general curriculum than today’s curriculum because the student performance depends a lot on the teacher who you got. This situation happens many times: you have a bad grade with some teacher but you see that with another teacher you will probably have an excellent grade, and that sound very unfair to me. There are teachers that teach how to use a digital program and they work all the semester with it, but other teachers work in a traditional way, the problem is that for the second year work with a digital program it’s a necessary requirement, a requirement that you must know perfectly.  What a beautiful moment when you start your vacations, in my personal opinion summer holidays are the best ones. The only bad thing is that I don't really like high temperatures but at least that give me the opportunity to go to a pool with my friends, Generally, in summer holidays, I travel a lot with my family, we went to the beach for almost two weeks last summer but sometimes we went with another family too. This time we want to go to the south of Chile, I think we will go to visit my mom's friend. It's a very special place because there is where my mom grow when she was a child.  A pet is an important part of a family. Obviously they require hours of your time. But what they bring you are many positive things that depends about what kind of animal do you have. Generally the fight about which pet is "better" is about cat against dog, and I have to say that I’m from the dog team. I have always had a dog as a pet since I was like 2 years old. My old pet, Polo, died in 2020. Even though he loved more my dad than me, his death affect me. I spent 2 years without a pet but recently we adopt one. I began university so I wanted something that destress me, or someone. So, my neighbor give me one of their puppies, her name is Candy and she’s a Yorkshire. She is almost two years old. I love Candy so much, she’s a very loving dog and she’s kind with people, when people arrive at my home she always runs and starts kissing and playing with them. Why I love her so much?  I think many students know what they will do when they finish the university. Well, that’s not my case, I really don’t know what to do after my studies, at least not exactly because I don’t know what courses can I do, I’m just starting in this world.  About this, if I want to keep studying I think that I would like some course that involves design, it’s what I most like now, another option is the study of the public space. But I say it now in the present because in the future it’s probably that I'll change my mind and new things will interest me. In fact, in these eight months I feel like if I had changed a lot.  I hope that I will do the course abroad. In Chile you can learn many things but I expect that there are countries where they have a special way of teaching, a way which I would like and I will learn a lot of things.  I’m just four steps away from beginning my job’s life. I always hoped that I can do what I wanted: something that involves math or art. And being an architect make possible to combine both. I expect that I be able to draw blueprints with math, and design the building appearance that I like. Luckily, I don't know which specialization I will focus but I hope that I will finish it. I think that my job will be working inside an office with my colleagues or at home with myself. But working outside is a part of the job too, one must go to see other buildings to learn from them, travel to a foreign country for a project, know people who you will work with, I love the idea to go outside, go to countries where everything is different and be able to analyze them with a partner. I think that you are always learning new things for your final project, that is: yourself. About the salary, it depends on the architect.  In the blog before this one I explained the importance about school in the childhood. And there I finish saying about how math influenced me in my final choice. After all, architecture haves my favorites subjects: math and arts. Since young I wanted to study architecture, perhaps my family influenced me too but by the end: if it enjoys me it doesn´t matter. My first option always has been architecture. I never had a second option. I only wanted to study architecture and the only change was the university so I finally put as first option the Universidad de Chile and as second option the Universidad Católica. Why? Because I thought that the people there were more friendly and actually, I made many good friends so I’m really happy with my choice. I’m a person who really don’t have a favorite genre for a movie and if we talk about movie’s director I know absolutely nobody. And that’s is with almost everything, I do not have a favorite thing, I have more than one. But If I have to say one that change my childhood I just think in one. Well, I think about the character more than the movie and he’s the amazing Spider-Man.   When I saw Spider-Man, I remember that I wanted to be he. I dreamed that I was swinging for one building to another, saving the day. After all, I wanted to become a super hero. But the movie is more than that, the movie taught me not only how to be a hero, it taught me how to be a good person, how Peter Parker is always “smiling”, in spite of problems.  People don’t always love their jobs or their school, even their daily days. So, it’s important to have those days where we can be ourselves, have fun with others, perhaps alone too but above everything: be happy.   So all holydays, or most of them, are welcome but today I want to talk about my favorite one. I think that was in 2020-2021 during summer, in my country, Chile. I Remember that I went with two friends; Miguel and Diego, at Miguel's Aunt plot. There we had a lot of fun because that place was big and had a pool. Perhaps we stayed there like four or six days, there wasn't a really long trip.   I think that the context made the holyday better because weeks before we had to do the PTU and the trip was the way to take off the stress.  Since I was 14 years old I have a new goal in my life: travel to another country. I saw that in Chile there isn´t the better quality of life, so I wanted to search a solution, I wanted to research and answer my question: where can I go to be happy?   I thought in Spain, EEUU, UK but I fell in love with one country: Canada. There, the city is very safe, issues like study or health are so decent and there are so beautiful views. The lakes, the forests, the mountains, all the environment is under the care of the country that involve the good landscape.  If I have to say a “bad” point from Canada, I would say that Canada’s weather is so cold. In winter all the ground is actually snow. I must get used to that but with time everything is possible.   The Autobiography of Benjamín González  Benjamín González born in 2004 in Santiago, Chile. His parents are: Adriana (mother) and Raúl (father). Benjamín since he was young he liked maths, not because he loved it or because the numbers motivated him, it's because he didn't have to study a lot, for him maths was just logic. Another thing that Benjamín used to do in his free time was drawing and playing videogames, he likes the games when you have to build something. All this things make Benjamín study archquitecture but this i will explain after.  At the age of 12, he went to Instituto Nacional, there he met a lot of his friends and teachers.
